Can I interview Emma or someone from Emma Rice Company for my academic research?

Everything we’ve written and filmed about Emma’s work is free on this page. Start with the films and workbook, then the pack for the show you’re studying. We’re not able to do individual interviews at the moment, so these are the best place to find what you need.

Do you run workshops for drama teachers and educators?

Yes. We run CPD workshops for drama teachers and educators. See Courses for Educators for what’s coming up, and join our mailing list to hear first.

Do you run workshops in schools?

We don’t run sessions in schools ourselves, but our CPD workshops give teachers our approach to take back to their students. The films and workbook are full of exercises you can use in class.

Can I come on work experience with you?

We can’t offer work experience to under-18s, but our Training Programme is open to anyone from 18. It’s the best way to start working with us.

Whether you’re teaching our work or studying it, you'll find lots of useful information and resources here.

There are Education packs for our shows, and four films of Emma talking about how she makes theatre, with a workbook to go alongside them.

To hear Emma in her own words, listen to the Wise Children Podcast, a backstage pass into rehearsals, rewrites and life on tour, and Tea & Biscuits, her lockdown conversations with long-time collaborators.

We also run workshops and training for teachers, educators and youth leaders, bringing our playful approach into the classroom and rehearsal room. Join our mailing list to hear first about new resources and workshops.
