Simon has designed sound (and video) for all of Emma Rice Company’s shows: Malory Towers (UK Tour); North by Northwest (UK and US Tour); A Child’s Christmas in Wales (The Lucky Chance); The Buddha of Suburbia (RSC/Barbican Theatre); The Little Match Girl and Happier Tales (The Lucky Chance); Blue Beard (UK tour); Wuthering Heights (UK and international tours); Bagdad Cafe (Old Vic); Romantics Anonymous (Bristol Old Vic) and Wise Children (UK tour).

He also worked with Emma on many productions for Kneehigh Theatre & Shakespeare's Globe including Brief Encounter (Worldwide); Steptoe & Son; Red Shoes; Tristan & Yseult; The Wild Bride; Don John and Umbrellas Of Cherbourg; A Midsummer Nights Dream and Twelfth Night.

Alongside his design work, Simon is Creative Director for Emma Rice Company, and a Fellow of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Simon is the proud recipient of an Olivier Award for his work on Matilda The Musical, a Tony Award for his work on A Christmas Carol and a Stage Award for Digital Innovation for his work at Emma Rice Company during the COVID pandemic.
