James Gow

Cello

James is a multi-instrumentalist and composer with a BA in Music from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Outside of the theatre he has played with or alongside several bands including: Lunch Money Life, Cocos Lovers, Molly’s Lips, Eleven Magpies, and Three Cane Whale. He also performs as a solo artist under the moniker Flames Pow He has performed as a musician with Kneehigh since 2013 in The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk, Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs),Tristan & Yseult and Brief Encounter. Other theatre includes: 100: UnEarth (WildWorks); The Lion, the Witch and the Wardobe (Bridge Theatre); James and the Giant Peach (West Yorkshire Playhouse); Ugly Chief (Victoria Melody); Siyanda, Protector of Plants (Theatre-Rites).
